JDRF of Northern Nevada’s outreach and fundraising efforts extend into the Lake Tahoe and Elko communities as well as the greater Reno-Carson-Susanville areas. Additional activities undertaken by the branch include coordinating grassroots efforts to lobby both Congress and the Nevada State Legislature on behalf of diabetes issues, particularly diabetes research funding and diabetes issues involving children.
